Here is the heart behind OMG.
Most people who see me now would never guess I have lived with eczema for over 30 years.
I remember hiding my hands as a child, not wanting anyone to touch my skin. Holding hands was my worst nightmare. Growing up, that insecurity followed me into my career. Even as an insurance agent meeting clients daily, I’d sometimes wear a hat to cover my face — just to feel less exposed.
At some point I got tired of feeling helpless. So I stopped guessing and started learning — skin barriers, ingredients, triggers, recovery. Then I went further and qualified as a beauty therapist. In 2021 I opened my first small studio. COVID closed it, and I went back to insurance.
Coming to Singapore, I saw it everywhere again — the humidity, the heat, the tropical climate and so many people quietly struggling with their skin. I meet people daily who feel as lost as I once did.
So I built OMG. Not to sell perfection. To give people clarity, honesty, support, and treatment that actually makes sense — and a place to say the thing out loud.
